Can you choose to be a caring person, or do you have to be born that way? (Minimum 5 sentences)
I believe it is a decision. I made the choice for myself of who I am. I think others are the same. They can make their own choices and suffer, or thrive. I think that everyone in them has kindness.
Agree or disagree: By performing caring acts, we become caring people. Explain. (Minimum 5 sentences)
Agree, because doing things for others lets us care. Helping others makes us feel better about ourselves. It appeases our need for helping other people. To ease our feelings and make us feel like we are changing something with our acts or words. It makes us feel like we are needed.
Someone said, Caring needs a government that works. In our country, do government programs show caring for people in need? (Minimum 5 sentences)
No, they say they do and then don’t back it up. They’re all “oh, we’re gonna help starving kids in Asia”, and then they spend money on stupid things like more amusement parks. The government says they will help to make us like them more. To make them seem like better people.
Do you think we can pass laws that will make people care? (Minimum 1 sentence)
No, it is a trait of character.
Why or why not? (Minimum 5 sentences)
Like I said, it is a trait that must be accepted. Not all people care, some just act as if they don’t. Even if they do, that doesn’t mean it will change anything. It can’t promise a kinder future. It can’t really do anything but make people’s live a little bit easier. But, there again, that’s all most people want.
Explain the quote from Kahlil Gibran, "You give little when you give of your possessions. It's when you give of yourself that you truly give." (Minimum 5 sentences) Possession’s don’t mean that much to people. When you give them a part of you, it means so much more. Just to ask how someone’s feeling, can really make a difference to certain people. Some will only brush you off, but it could be well worth it in the end. To show how much you care in little ways other than giving someone something that you have.
Can you choose to be a caring person, or do you have to be born that way?
What I believe really doesn’t matter if it is how another person chooses to become. I personally think that it is neither. You must be brought up in a caring environment to become a caring person. If you are not taught by example, you would never learn. I doubt many people can claim being a caring person.
Agree or disagree: By performing caring acts, we become caring people. Explain.
I disagree. Just because you help someone does not make you a caring person. Naturally speaking, I am far from being a caring person. But, my mind set is different than most. Even though I know karma is not true, I tell myself that my good deeds will build up and help me when I need it most ( just so I’ll help someone – I feel as if I’m getting something in return ).
Someone said, Caring needs a government that works. In our country, do government programs show caring for people in need?
They show “caring” in an odd way. Prices go higher so it is impossible for people to receive anything without the cost being great. When we devote a set amount of money to one section, we take away from another. Being caring has a huge cost on the people. Especially when in the case of services being abused.
Do you think we can pass laws that will make people care?
You could never tell someone how to act and expect them to follow – they would go in the opposite direction just out of spite.
Why or why not?
People enjoy being selfish. It is our natural thought process to “want and watch for me.” We try to put ourselves in other people’s situations. The fact that we can’t possibly understand is the usual. There are no such things as saints and so no one has the right to make a law and expect them to follow it.
Explain the quote from Kahlil Gibran, "You give little when you give of your possessions. It's when you give of yourself that you truly give."
Well, first off – I think this quote explains itself. But, I disagree with it. We are bound to our material possessions. Many people give and it will temporarily make them feel better about themselves. It’s the fact that we can’t hold one thing dearer to us then the next.
Can you choose to be a caring person, or do you have to be born that way? (Minimum 5 sentences)
*You can choose or be born that way. It depends on what type of person you are. If you come from a caring family, you are most likely to be caring towards others. If your family isn’t all that close, it doesn’t matter. You can still just to be kind.
Agree or disagree: By performing caring acts, we become caring people. Explain. (Minimum 5 sentences)
*This is 100% true for SOME people. It could help some realize that they love doing good things for people. Some people don’t go with the caring person vibe. They don’t like the feel of caring for others. Especially people they don’t know.
Someone said, Caring needs a government that works. In our country, do government programs show caring for people in need? (Minimum 5 sentences)
*No. I think our government sucks most of the time. If our government were such good people, they would do something about the war. Most people in the government have a lot of money. If they cared they could donate some of it for the world’s benefit.
Do you think we can pass laws that will make people care? (Minimum 1 sentence)
I think in a way that that’s impossible.
Why or why not? (Minimum 5 sentences)
*You can never make someone care. Some people are born with a don’t care attitude. Some people you just can’t change, no matter how hard you try. There are so many different people. Different people have different outlooks on everything.
Explain the quote from Kahlil Gibran, "You give little when you give of your possessions. It's when you give of yourself that you truly give." (Minimum 5 sentences)
*You can’t make someone happy with material things. Someone has to be loved and cared for to feel special. Like a small kid, you can give them toys to play with but they will still want your attention. If you give money that’s fine but if you join a community clean up to rebuild abandon houses, work at humane societies, or even homeless shelters, that’s even better. What you do shows how much you care.
Can you choose to be a caring person, or do you have to be born that way? (Minimum 5 sentences)
You can decide to be a good person. You can also decide not to be one. For when you decide not to be one you are deciding to not be a caring person. You can choose to do this at anytime. It is not a trait you can be born with you have to develop it.
Agree or disagree: By performing caring acts, we become caring people. Explain. (Minimum 5 sentences)
I agree with this statement. For a caring person is one who does caring acts. So if you do caring acts. You will become a caring person. If you don’t do caring acts you will not become a caring person.
Someone said, Caring needs a government that works. In our country, do government programs show caring for people in need? (Minimum 5 sentences)
Yes we have such programs for the help care. We have welfare nursing homes. But there are not as many as there should be. We also have Medicare. However most programs require many to pay for the majority of the bills.
Do you think we can pass laws that will make people care? (Minimum 1 sentence)
No, I do not think so.
Why or why not? (Minimum 5 sentences)
Because caring is not something that can be forced. A person has to decide on their own to be caring. True caring is doing it without being forced to. If this happened no one would think of as being care. No one would be considered a caring person.
Explain the quote from Kahlil Gibran, "You give little when you give of your possessions. It's when you give of yourself that you truly give." (Minimum 5 sentences)
It is saying that not everyone wants your stuff. Some people just want a friend. They just want someone to be there for them when they are down. Because no amount of stuff brings happiness to someone. Only God and friends and family can do that.
(Post the questions and the answers to the questions in a complete sentence)
Can you choose to be a caring person, or do you have to be born that way? (Minimum 5 sentences)
-You can choose to be a caring person, you do not have to be born that way. You can choose to be this way because you are the one who chooses how you treat people or chooses how you act. So you don’t necessarily have to be born caring to be caring. Being caring is showing respect and kindness towards people, so you choose whether or not you want to do that. Being born into a caring family does however affect some what of your life when you grow up and make decisions.
Agree or disagree: By performing caring acts, we become caring people. Explain. (Minimum 5 sentences)
-I disagree. Even though you show ways of caring doesn’t mean you are going to become that way. You may be the nicest person to someone, but at the same time you could be the meanest person to someone else. So, you’re not going to become the things you do or the way you act. It may be different with other things though, but being caring towards people is a different story.
Someone said, Caring needs a government that works. In our country, do government programs show caring for people in need? (Minimum 5 sentences)
-In some ways, yes and some ways, no. It really just depends on the situation. They may show some signs of caring in medical situations and things like that, but when it comes to money, or something that they get out of the situation, they could careless. I think that if the government gets something out of it, then they don’t care about anything that could happen, all they care about is what they’re getting. So, to me, our government could be a little more caring on things such as this.
Do you think we can pass laws that will make people care? (Minimum 1 sentence)
-No; people choose to be caring.
Why or why not? (Minimum 5 sentences)
-Because if someone chose to be a caring person, then that’s who they are. However, if someone chooses to be uncaring, again, that’s who they are. A simple law saying “You must be more caring” doesn’t mean it will change the mind’s of those who think otherwise. They aren’t going to listen to a law if they don’t want to be caring. If you are determined enough not to be a caring person, then you won’t let anything change your mind.
Explain the quote from Kahlil Gibran, "You give little when you give of your possessions. It's when you give of yourself that you truly give." (Minimum 5 sentences)
-“Giving yourself” means giving all the love and kindness and caring you have for someone. An example would be a woman’s husband; she would truly give herself to him because she loves him. So, if you gave someone your possessions like money or clothes or something, sure that may show signs of caring, but that’s it. You have to give yourself, your complete self, to someone to show them they really matter to you.
(Post the questions and the answers to the questions in a complete sentence)
Can you choose to be a caring person, or do you have to be born that way? (Minimum 5 sentences)
I think you have to choose as you get older. Caring would not matter when you were born or not it depends on how you decide to live your life. If you decide to be nice you will be nice other wise you will be a big jerk. I do think however, God chooses whether or not we decide to care or not care. You have to choose when you get older because that is when you might hit the stage of caring or not caring.
Agree or disagree: By performing caring acts, we become caring people. Explain. (Minimum 5 sentences)
I don’t think that is all the way truthful. I think you choose to care or not. Just because you have done some good things for some people does not mean that you care all the way. You can care or not care and you can do a good deed or don’t do it. A caring act does show someone something about you but It isn’t necessarily good.
Someone said, Caring needs a government that works. In our country, do government programs show caring for people in need? (Minimum 5 sentences)
No, they only want our money from us. Now tell me how that is being caring. I don’t want them to take money I want them to give me money. I do think that we need a caring government. People would be a lot more respectful to the government if they were nicer to the people.
Do you think we can pass laws that will make people care? (Minimum 1 sentence)
No, I don’t think people would even care about the dumb law.
Why or why not? (Minimum 5 sentences)
Why, because people wouldn’t care anyways. They are just a bunch of rude pricks who just try to get people into trouble. If they cared they would get people out of trouble. It would be pointless to give out a law to caring people. No one is even going to care about the law. Now if it were a ten commandment then im sure people would care about it.
Explain the quote from Kahlil Gibran, "You give little when you give of your possessions. It's when you give of yourself that you truly give." (Minimum 5 sentences)
People will get tired of a possession someone gave them. A lifetime with a friend though is absolutely going to last you forever. If you give something you truly desire but If you also skip over to a friends and are not at home doing homework like you were supposed too. When you help someone out who needs it then it is magnificent and a miracle. God placed you on the earth to do something good for someone that means you need to respect other people and help them out when they do something wrong.
Can you choose to be a caring person, or do you have to be born that way?
I think that you chose. I do not think that you are just born with it. Its how you are raised to I guess. Most people choose to be caring. That’s what I think anyways.
Agree or disagree: By performing caring acts, we become caring people. Explain.
I agree with this statement. This statement is very true I think. The nicer you are the more caring you will become. Especially if you are raised right. It all reflects back on that.
Someone said, Caring needs a government that works. In our country, do government programs show caring for people in need?
I guess we do. Sometimes I really doubt it. Most people are ok though and don’t need care. The ones that do need it receive it. So I think its ok.
Do you think we can pass laws that will make people care?
I am not sure it would be good if we could though.
Why or why not?
It would maker it a better place. People would be happy. People would be a lot nicer. Every one would get along. The world would be a better place to live in.
Explain the quote from Kahlil Gibran, "You give little when you give of your possessions. It's when you give of yourself that you truly give."
I think that it says if it comes from your heart it is better. You’re doing it with care. You are giving more of it. You are do9ng it for a special cause. Not just because you have to.
Can you choose to be a caring person, or do you have to be born that way? (Minimum 5 sentences)
I can choose to be caring at times. I sometimes can do things to help others. These things are good for the community. At times, I can do certain things for people. For some reason, I can do the right things at the perfect time.
Agree or disagree: By performing caring acts, we become caring people. Explain. (Minimum 5 sentences)
I wholeheartedly agree. The reason we are caring people is that we can do things for the world. The people can do things the right way when they do it for people. Other people might disagree on this term. These people need a lesson for some reason.
Someone said, Caring needs a government that works. In our country, do government programs show caring for people in need? (Minimum 5 sentences)
Some of the acts can help people. Others can harm people. These people can do with or without these acts. The programs might be helping people in the Middle East, but it's taken a toll on gas prices, meaning higher prices on items we need or want. Sometimes, we can stop acts before they start.
Do you think we can pass laws that will make people care? (Minimum 1 sentence)
At some point in the future, yes.
Why or why not? (Minimum 5 sentences)
In the future, we can pass laws about caring in our communities. These laws are important for the people of the world. These laws might be passed down in 1000-2000 years. The laws will state that no one will ever curse, harm, or threaten other people. Hopefully, it will happen over 1000 years from now.
Explain the quote from Kahlil Gibran, "You give little when you give of your possessions. It's when you give of yourself that you truly give." (Minimum 5 sentences)
You give little care whenever you give away your prized objects. When you give your life for someone, you give a lot of care. This means that you can sometimes do things for others to show thst you care. It even means if you sacrifice your life for other people's lives. Make sure you have your life ready for the unexpected.
Can you choose to be a caring person, or do you have to be born that way? I think that you make a decision to be caring. Nobody is born caring. The only way people care is by their beliefs. Sometimes people are more kind natured than others. I think that if you are a uncaring person you can still change your ways.
Agree or disagree: By performing caring acts, we become caring people. I agree. If you don’t show you care then you don’t really care. When people show their love by helping then that person knows they care. If you just say you would help then that doesn’t mean anything. You have to do things to be caring.
Someone said, Caring needs a government that works. In our country, do government programs show caring for people in need? Most of the time the government is trying to make money off everything. They wont just give. The government tries to tax the things they give for charity. When they give tax breaks to parents it was so we would spend it all. I think all the government cares about is itself.
Do you think we can pass laws that will make people care? I don’t think you can pass laws to make people care.
Why or why not? Everyone controls their own actions. You cant make someone think a certain way. The laws they have now most people don’t follow them. If they had laws to make people care it would be a failure. First the government would have to learn to stop being so greedy.
Explain the quote from Kahlil Gibran, "You give little when you give of your possessions. It's when you give of yourself that you truly give. This means you can give worldly objects and not make a difference, but when you dedicate yourself you are truly making a sacrifice. Anyone can give cash to someone in need. When you give your time you truly are helping. When you give your life for Christ you are making a sacrifice. If you give him a dollar or food you aren’t really doing anything. You are truly giving when you give your heart
(Post the questions and the answers to the questions in a complete sentence)
Can you choose to be a caring person, or do you have to be born that way? (Minimum 5 sentences) Well I think it works that way. It really depends who you are. Also your parents have a huge influence. You choose to be who you are. If your parents are really caring, more than likely you will be too. If they are not, than you probably wont be.
Agree or disagree: By performing caring acts, we become caring people. Explain. (Minimum 5 sentences) I agree completely. If we are caring to others we are pegged as caring people. Also if we care for people we can make a habit of it. It doesn’t take much to be caring. So they most diffidently could.
Someone said, Caring needs a government that works. In our country, do government programs show caring for people in need? (Minimum 5 sentences) Well in some ways they do. But in most they don’t they only think about themselves. They want money so they make up originations to help people and keep the money for themselves. It does help keep some of the corrupted people away. Mostly they are just crooks.
Do you think we can pass laws that will make people care? (Minimum 1 sentence) No, not really.
Why or why not? (Minimum 5 sentences) Well if people cared they would do something more than just sit around and wait. If they really wanted to stay safe from bad people they wouldn’t create those bad people. If they really wanted to help those People who need it they would of already. If they really needed help they would ask for it. Laws will just make them angery.
Explain the quote from Kahlil Gibran, "You give little when you give of your possessions. It's when you give of yourself that you truly give." (Minimum 5 sentences) It means a lot of things. For one it means to help people. Two It means when you give you time to someone your giving them more than a trinket. Also it means that people love it when you spend time with time with them instead of your money. It means a lot more too.
Can you choose to be a caring person, or do you have to be born that way?
-You don’t have to be born a caring person. You can change the way you are at any time of your life. You can change yourself anyway you want or need to. Caring is an important thing in life. Everyone needs to care about someone or something.
Agree or disagree: By performing caring acts, we become caring people. Explain.
-I agree to that saying. If you act to be a caring person, you become one. Acting in a character can change your character. Changing your character can change yourself in a good way or bad. It would be good if you did in a good way.
Someone said, Caring needs a government that works. In our country, do government programs show caring for people in need?
-No, I don’t think they do. Most of the government usually cares about themselves or other people. They don’t care about the environment. People need to start caring about the environment. That would make or earth a better and cleaner place.
Do you think we can pass laws that will make people care?
-No, I don’t think we can pass a law about that.
Why or why not?
-A law can’t change a person’s character. No one can change a person but themselves. There needs to be a law to care but no one would go by it. People don’t care about anyone but themselves. That is not the right thing to do.
Explain the quote from Kahlil Gibran, "You give little when you give of your possessions. It's when you give of yourself that you truly give."
-When you care about someone, they have a piece of you. That piece of you is something important to that other person. When you care about someone they should care about you. Care about someone important to you, and they will care about you. Caring is an important thing in out lives and everyone needs to care.
